
We make cakes. It’s another hobby. And they’re ah-mazing! Most of these cakes take a significant amount of time, and we always make everything from scratch. The batter, the frosting, the fondant. Oh, the fondant. It’s tastier than store-bought stuff, but it means kneading melted marshmallow and sugar with Crisco hands for an eternity. They’re for birthdays and special events. In a house with a family as big as ours, that’s a lot of work.
